  2. all the commenters here leaving teary comments about how they just now realized one of the costs of slavery was that people were sold and resold - what unbelievably shielded lives these creatures must lead that this never occured to them before; what callous, self-absorbed people. But don't worry! They'll be okay! - they got it all out of their systems by leaving a comment telling us the size and quantity of the tears they shed over this story. Life goes on for them. What a relief!
