Or "homogenous" (your favorite euphemism) not only were there already indigenous people living there but WASPs brought over slaves from Africa, then they took over states that were inhabited by Mexican mestizos(and adopted parts of their culture like cowboys, "vaqueros" in Spanish) then they brought over the Chinese, then the Irish, European Jews, Italians came in droves and none of them were considered "white" until later, Italians and the Irish being Catholics were considered unfit to be American because of their "allegiance" to the pope... America was never "homogenous" you people live in fantasy land
