@janniejeanjellybean3803 .. well industrialized soy lecithin has it in there as well as other oils but if you take it as a supplement than I might assume it doesn't have hexane in it. I saw some of it at whole foods market and tried to investigate by email but they said they didn't have that information. If I were you I would talk to the company to see if it's hexane free.

..I had the same experience. It made my hair sticky and it was not residue.. it was my hair. Took a while to get it back to normal.

@janniejeanjellybean3803 .. wow!!! Terrible! I have never tried argon oil. I have been dealing with frizzy damaged hair and the shea moisture shampoo i used today helped but it leaves oil In my hair and it looks greasy. Do you have any recommendations for shampoo? I don't like strong scent.

@janniejeanjellybean3803 .. ok I think I will try that.. are you using Johnson and Johnson? I don't like scented stuff but the fragrance free shampoo I have is hard to use. It doesn't really suds up and I have to use so much of it. Thanks for the tip.

@janniejeanjellybean3803 ..ok thank you! I just looked up Bert's bees baby shampoo ingredients and it has the hydrolyzed soy protein (glutamate similar to MSG)... My other shampoo has a glutamate in it too..I don't know why these shampoos need this... It's a nerve stimulant. Also berts bees also has lecithin in it..this often contains hexane.. injures the Myelin sheath of the nerves. Just FYI. I guess I will go to target and look around.
