For being an elected official of the world's most populous democracy he sure is chummy with dictators. The cynic in me thinks it's just "real politik" and self interest. The skeptic in me thinks.....Modi has autocratic aspirations.

@captivatethem Maybe it's best for politicians to not talk out of both sides of their mouths in the days of mass media. We can speculate endlessly about the "intended" audience but there is a large "unintended" audience who are receiving the message as well.

There does seem to be a lot of crossover between Modi constituents and Dictator sycophants. Or maybe all the dictator fellating rhetoric is just vapid moral justifications for sacrificing Ukrainian lives for cheap oil. Either way. Eww

@Wolfentime36 most of Russia's "super" weapons have turned out to be barely functional or complete fabrications. Su-57's aren't stealth. S400's can't hit ATACMS, The fabled unhittable russian hypersonic missiles have been downed by patriots. T-90's barely exist in relative numbers, and T-14's only exist on paper. No one fears Russia.
