  8. Its not a new concept. There were some "funny" shermans that were used for mine clearing in a similar fashion. A dedicated vehicle to just absorb mine hits is a good concept in theory....i wouldnt want to rife in though. I foresee unmanned varients in the near future.

You should talk to Michael Shellenberger about the demand side. He's done a lot of research on the correct policies to implement. As for the demand side, we need to empower and incentivize the Mexican government to crack down on the cartels with both carrots and sticks, The same way Guatemala is cracking down on MS13 recently.
