I did many thought experiments years ago on utopias. they all ended in extremely violent dictatorships. Perfection cannot exist in teh Utopia sense as not everyone wants the same things. And it succumbs to the Hawks and Doves scenario, where utopia is ripe for violence, and a place filled with violence benefits the person who does good. An never ending oscillation until a stable number of hawks and doves is reached.

@piretiris8223 exactly my point. Every utopia devolves very quickly into a murderous nightmare. it is inevitable once you sufficiently understand the fundamental flaw in every utopia.

@rphb5870 you clearly know nothing about utopias. you're clearly still naive about them. yes, we can do better than we've done, and I actually have ways to fix education, healthcare costs, etc. But the problem is corruption (I have ideas on how to address that too). But no system will EVER be "perfect", and you just have to learn to accept that. You cannot refuse to take immigrants and refugees, without being isolationist. Your utopian fantasy is one of isolationism. And how will you force these ideas on people? how will you force many of these ideas onto free people? Your utopia is a free society, right? If it's not free than people like me will take up arms to kill the tyrants who impose their utopia on us. How many will you kill to enforce your utopia?

@FruityHachi "plenty of people face challenges, obstacles and it produces the same result" wrong. they produce wildly different results. But we were far better off when people were raised knowing they were on their own, that no one owed them anything, that their success was up to them. But that started to change in teh last 50yrs, they stopped teaching independence and responsibility. They started teaching that everyone was a winner, even when they failed. and the US gov started creating dependency after WW1, they turned content US citizens into consumerists using WW1 propaganda.

People CHOOSE to be homeless. People CHOOSE to live off the land. the gov allows it. People CHOOSE to "keep up with the Jones". Stop trying to absolve yourself of responsibility. Stop making excuses. you aren't OWED a free apartment. the gov DOES give out free housing though to Some people, just depends upon how "privileged" you are to be a lazy homeless leech.
