  4. No more than 30% of a population should ever be able to earn a college degree. Otherwise the degree is worthless and meaningless. College is supposed to be reserved for the smartest and hardest working, and if more than 30% are earning their way into the schools, then they need to increase their standards until less than 30% of students qualify. Mind you that admissions to college is supposed to be EARNED. nowadays anyone can go to college so long as they pay the tuition. Historically money wasn't the barrier to entry, it was ability and determination.

  6. I managed to got to college and get 4 degrees, without taking on even $1 in debt. But I got degrees in STEM fields and served in the military, went to college while working, etc. Took a gap year out of high school fighting in Iraq at age 19.
