  1.  @billcallahan9303  I don't care what your credentials are. I am an engineer, worked for NASA, hold multiple patents and world records, and hold 14 FAA certificates in multiple categories and flew professionally as well (I still maintain my commercial and CFI status as well). But that doesn't make me automatically right. Prove me wrong with facts, not your credentials and "appeal to authority" fallacies. Explain to me, how you stall a plane flying at zero-G? Show me an example of a plane like a C-172, in level flight pushing over into negative-G for a bit and stalling. And then show me an example of one entering a spin during that momentary push-over. (I've personally put a C172 into an abrupt negative-G pushover once before to avoid a collision on takeoff before, so I know what happens for real as well).

  2. C172/C182 are used all over the US for skydiving. I can literally list a number just in my area alone.

  3. If you can't free yourself, what happens next? You get dragged by a plane on landing. Chance you could still survive, but it's going to hurt.

  4.  @landen99  but co-pilots serve no purpose on a normal flight and cost weight/revenue. These light airplanes can't justify a co-pilot.
