@iplaygames8090 Russia has the most submarine disasters since WW2 of any nation. Not one has used such escape pods. And using an escape pod in a submarine disaster in real life is almost never going to happen if you know the realities of what happens in those conditions. Not one Russian life has been saved by a Russian sub escape pod. Meanwhile the US has small submersibles that can dock with stricken subs and be more effective and actually work. Yeah, how many KA-52/50 ejections have we seen in Ukraine? Maybe one? Most are destroyed such that they never get out (too low to react) or the pilots were killed by the missile, or the helicopters were destroyed on the ground. US helicopters have experimented with ejection seats as well, but they come at a cost of weight, and low odds of being used (like we see in Ukraine). Instead US helicopters are designed to survive the impact from low altitude like a Formula 1 driver hitting a wall at 200mph, and it works. Russia pretends at caring about safety, but 400k dead in Ukraine proves they could care less about saving human lives. The last time the US lost that many people was our Civil War. Why does Russia shoot their wounded in Ukraine if they care about safety? And we have many examples of them doing it on camera before you try to deny it, as well as intercepted phone calls of russians saying it was happening. Couldn't even give their guys real ERA and real body armor.

Tanks still have a role. this is beating a dead horse. the issues in Ukraine have been discussed at great length.

Boeing: continuing to fleece taxpayers for money Boeing: delivers aircraft per contract, but it doesn't work. Boeing: will fix it if you give them more money to upgrade.

interesting that even the Russians knew they couldn't hide from Western attack subs in the Atlantic.

it is ugly, but I do like the redundancy possibilities it presents.

GPS jamming.....

The US Boneyard is for military aircraft what the Mothball fleet is for the Navy. A reserve of parts and aircraft that can be used for a variety of purposes, including return to service in the event of a large scale conflict in which losses are high and it's more important to have numbers than just quality.

hence why lighter, modular, and minimally armored tanks is the future. Armor the truly critical spots, and nothing else.

9:13 keep in mind Most of those ships were built After the start of WW2. but the US and allies like Canada had more shipyards to draw upon than now, and the US had a much more robust merchant marine to draw from as well.

10:15 if it's below 254lb it's an ultralight, and legal to fly. and now we get additional weight for flotation.

the more Neil talks, the dumber he gets.

cameras: lack of depth perception?

US started working with Mules due to terrain in China, and lessons learned in OEF

and don't forget those Mig-31 launched "hypersonic" rockets are failing and crashing inside Russia too, or failing to hit their targets for other reasons.

US holds the scramjet speed record, last I checked. Look up X-51 and X-43

the F6F was used as a target drone too
