  1.  @bobsager7034  nothing I said is a political talking point. the chemical company transporting it's cargo by rail, was not at fault for the crash. The gov coverup of the story by silencing the media and journalists is the crime. The attempts to discredit concerned citizens talking about it and bringing it to light. The refusal by FEMA and others to get involved, etc. these are the failures. The gov shutting down the train workers union strike and ignoring the safety issues they were striking over is the fault of gov. Yes, the train company bears some responsibility as well. And whoever decided to light the chemicals on fire. But the gov refusing to warn citizens, and hold corporations accountable is the issue. now quote which part of my comment was a political talking point?

  3. Art Stone, But you're wrong, or rather, FEMA is wrong. "The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) supports citizens and emergency personnel to build, sustain, and improve the nation's capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate all hazards." FEMA's own name and stated purpose is not exclusive to natural disasters. FEMA even has plans for nuclear war, and that most certainly is not natural. Is a pandemic a natural disaster? What if that pandemic was actually an engineered biological attack?

  4. at the very least, bare minimum, the gov should have been putting out warnings and alerting people what to do after the fire.

  5.  @ArtStoneUS  the bulk of people affected live in Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky, etc. the water, water table, watershed, rainfall will mostly follow the rivers South and West to the Mississippi river and to the gulf of Mexico. Pennsylvania will surely be affected too and should take action as well. But the majority of people affected will be between Ohio and Louisiana.
