I'm a first generation college grad from a poor family from small rural towns in the middle of nowhere. I have 4 degrees (all 4 earned between 2010 and 2021), and never took out a single loan and finished every degree with zero debt of any kind. And I am not the only one like me. I oppose debt forgiveness as it's generally proposed. I am opposed to having all these worthless degree programs. I am angry about how people lie to kids and get away with it. I am angered by how much college costs, yet these colleges are filthy rich and and many don't even need student tuition. I am angered by the financial incentives for colleges to hire ONLY PhDs as professors. I abhor colleges filled with professors who've never worked outside academia, and who have no useful life/work experience from which to teach from.
