  1. we had loud speakers on the outside of our vehicles in Iraq. they gave them to us to communicate with locals and such without getting out. But we just used them to blast music mostly by taping an earphone to the mic.

  3. being a SEAL doesn't make you impervious to getting your bell rung. getting a concussion and such is not something you can just overpower with SEAL training. It is entirely plausible he could be a sort of drunk/confused after an explosion or head injury. Happens all the time.
