And in a free country, he's free to ignore problems not of his own making. You are free to assume responsibility for those who refuse to take care of themselves (#2), but you don't get to force others to accept that responsibility against their own free will.

Social Security retirees is not the same as people paid into it to receive it back. Veterans on disability is not the same as they sacrificed for the nation. so there are a few exceptions. But only contributing members of society should be allowed to vote.

No real planning needed. But i get what you're saying. Matter of perspective really.
