  3. and people wonder why I never rely upon internet connected devices to run my life. When I lived in AZ years ago, I think it was around 2015, we lost all internet and cellphones for 3 days. it was glorious. People actually went outside and had face-to-face interactions again.

  4. yup, cloud computing is actually more costly and less secure in the long run. some companies have figured this out and started pulling back.

  6. proof Microsoft is a monopoly. look how disruptive their actions can be. look how huge an impact one bad company can cause. yet OSHA and other gov regulations are out there curb stomping small businesses who aren't hurting anyone into oblivion instead.

  13.  @Dolbic.  showing your ignorance.... Losing access to internet due to software update, is the same as losing internet. When you can't access internet through your computer due to Crowdstrike update, that is the exact same as being unable to access the internet through your computer due to the internet itself being down. Either way, systems requiring computer internet access to function are disrupted.
