  3.  @Hun_Uinaq  I was outside this spring with nothing but tennis shoes, jeans, t-shirt. Was 24F and sunny. Acclimation is a wonderful thing. But people are weak and lazy and instead use heating and air conditioning to reduce their resiliency, while complaining about their energy bills.

  4. so few people do real winter camping videos. Most go out when it's 20-30F and some when there isn't even snow on the ground and call it winter camping. To me it has to drop below the 20s and even into the negatives before I consider it actual winter camping. To me the whole point is being able to survive the cold, proving one can do it.

  5. seems you're unaware of card scrapers. they are wood working tools, and are basically a square spine. Who cares if some people only use it for fire starting, and why not conserve your blade edge and extend it between each sharpening when you can? The discomfort of handling a knife with 90deg edges is to not have 90deg edges the full length, and only have it where you use it and where your hand and thumb don't land. your argument is valid, but VERY weak.
