  1.  @titanicbigship  no, it's not. Flapping itself is a method of propulsion. This is not providing propulsion, but rather dynamically adjusting to flight conditions to reduce overall stresses and loads. This allows for lighter structures, longer wings, and therefore greater efficiencies. Also, flapping flight requires a more flexible wing design, that allows for more degrees of freedom than this feature is capable of. This feature is more like the adjustable wingtips on the XB-70, but able to move freely as well as being able to be adjusted, whereas the XB-70 wingtips did not have a free moving setting.

  3.  @mikeh.8155  You have just as much right to tell others what to do as they have to tell you what to do. Since you expect others to close the windows, we expect you to wear a face mask if you wish to sleep. People paid money to look out those windows, and you have no right to stop them.

  4. this is not flight by flapping. This is merely a sort of aeroelasticity, allowing wings to deflect more, reducing weight, stresses, and increasing efficiency. flapping is a means of propulsion, this is not. This is more like the adjustable wings on the XB-70 than "flapping".
