  1. Everyone I know in the US pronounces Audi correctly, but lots of German/Polish descendants. Lot of people get Porsche right too. Many Americans are well aware of the V vs W in Germany, but we just ignore it anyways. Also aware of the VW proper pronunciation, but again, we just say it the American way anyways, because I'm not German. Jager is close enough that most wont notice. Lufthansa is close enough too. It's not wrong, it's just the American accent. I'm not going to fake a German accent when I can't even speak German. Never heard of many of the others. Had no idea Aldi was even German. Mercedes was different, but given that it's a common name in America, and it's never pronounced the German way, I'm sure people can understand the difference. Keep in mind that throughout history a lot of immigrants who came to America Changed the spelling of their names or the pronunciation as well to fit in better for one reason or another. My family that came from Switzerland pronounces their own name FAR different than the proper pronunciation.
