  2. right? for decades the US at large has tried to get Europe to contribute more to their own defense and stop relying on the US. And Europeans hated US getting in others' business. Now we finally got what the US public wanted, and what the Europeans claimed they wanted. and everyone that claimed they wanted this is mad. ironic really.

  3. why? he's getting Europe to pay for their own defense, and getting the US out of foreign wars. I thought that's what everyone wanted? US wages have been stagnant for decades due to free trade and globalism (when they stopped tariffs decades ago).

  7. @ agreed. US is tired of europeans freeloading. and if they don't want us butting in, then they can't complain when we follow their advice and butt out and tell them to develop and fund their own weapons.

  10. Amazon, Apple, Google, Facebook, etc. need legit competition to challenge their monopolies. As an American, this is Necessary. Capitalism doesn't work without competition nor with monopolies.

  12.  @comentedonakeyboard  cheaper (lower profit margins) and less conditions when one buys it. we've been telling the European Allies to stop relying on us so much, to rebuild their forces, etc. for decades. But they refused to listen. so now we're forcing their hand.
