  2. Soon the terms will be the following: Russia leaves Ukraine, and takes any "separatists" with them back to Russia. Ukraine joins the EU and NATO and will arm itself against future assaults. (Don't know the situation with Crimea, so they'll have to sort that one out) Putin steps down as the leader of Russia, effective immediately.

  6.  @Zzzzalazar  Never said how long it would take. the only person who fears a sovereign nation freely entering into a mutually beneficial contract with other free thinking nations/peoples of the world is a tyrant. Anyone opposing countries to freely choose for themselves without threats of murder and war for doing so, is a despicable human being who is not fit to live in civilized society with the rest of us. Russia doesn't control Ukraine. Russia can't tell Ukraine what to do.

  7.  @dwniu2000  wrong. stop cowering in fear before Putin. he's doing this becasue he's weak, he messed up by attacking Ukraine, and he's about to lose and he knows it. All he can do now is bluff and threaten with the last card he has left. Bear in mind Putin can't fire nukes all by himself. He needs people in his military to agree to do it as well.

  9.  @renwei78  WW3? with who? Ina few weeks half of Russia's military will have been destroyed. European nations have 3x teh population of Russia, more and better tanks, and 1800modern fighter jets. Russia has ~700 total fixed wing aircraft of all types, and that number is being reduced each day in Ukraine. Russia stands alone aside from China. By the time Ukraine joins NATO, russia wont have an army left to fight back with.
