  3. @Andre disagree. Look at the history of math. We had to invent new ways of approaching problems to make it work. Remember, not all that long ago 'zero' didn't exist, but we invented it so we could explain things.

  4. @Andre we create math systems to try to navigate the magic of the world we cannot explain. General Relativity, Quantum Theory, Waves. Take a hit of acid and read up on some Dirac sometime.

I think the main problem with math is we are trying to turn numbers into static things our primitive brains can understand when it's probably more like some strange 'probability fractal' that works in multiple dimensions, and has intersections. I wish I was more intelligent to be able to explain this, but I fear I am not.
