  1. Rick Apocalypse People want to hate 'the rich'. Back when there was less government intervention, more people could 'be rich', start a business, and be successful. Now we have a lot of regulation, and people blame the growing split as greedy corporations taking advantage of the rest when its actually Government regulation that favours only established companies. Corruption killed Capitalism in the eyes of the students that have nowhere to go other than the arms of Socialism as a scapegoat. Socialism wants very much to take money from business and give to individuals that didn't earn it. Meanwhile, the state makes more and more money on its own. End the cycle people. Stop allowing your government to put rules in place that only favour a select few. Don't give into socialism as a means of escape, its far worse and has just as much corruption. Equal Opportunity, not Equality. Huge difference. Fight for it.

It wishes to take money from my hard work via taxes to provide to others that do not work.   I put in 18 hour days for upwards of two months straight.  You saying its fair that I paid over 40,000 last year in taxes?    ...because that was under a Conservative government.  Socialism wants to take even more away to give to other people.     How about this.    My wife runs a daycare (not joking) out of our house.   The NDP of Canada wishes to create affordable childcare service.   So to make up the difference in our income, they offer to pay a subsidy.    What this means is that we are now getting paid money that was stolen from other hard working individuals to pay for services they don't use.   This is wrong.

Communism fails because human greed gets in the way.  Its Socialism at best.  This was practiced in real time.   Its the same with Capitalism... its great until you have a monsanto bureaucrat in power that favours one type of corporation over the next, and imposes law and regulation that favour only one type.     So you have the illusion of choice no matter if you are looking at Left or Right politics.   Instead you should look toward Libertarians that recognize its State vs Individual.
