You don't need books anymore. Furthermore, suing the school is actually suing the taxpayer. Instead, you should stop voting in oppressive government bureaucrats that are getting wealthy off the backs of others. Free education comes with technology, and all the school system has to do is open up and recognize education can come from anywhere, not just the 'hand-out' indoctrination that has plagued Michigan for the last 40 years. Thanks.

  4. The problem is the funding... Detroit has been a Tax and spend centralized bureaucratic nightmare. It needs less government. You guys are so indoctrinated into the church of govenrment its scary. Detroit has $1000 houses right now being taxed at the $80,000 valuation... that is the problem. You create prosperity by getting the government out of the way. The government can only provide what it has taken, and its tax base is gone. So, just get the oppressive govenrment out of the way so the people can create a better environment for themselves.

  10. Detroit has a government problem. It needs to bulldoze the government. Too many people indoctrinated into the 'church of government'. Government has run education for far too long, and it shows.
