Pensions: The idea that glorious government can provide you with the ability to look after you when you are old. .....................LOL. If you are waiting for CPP/OAS, good luck. The government is bankrupt. They have been my entire life and I'm not that young. If you want to be smart with finances, stop looking toward government. They are part of the debt pyramid scheme, and continue to print more money, which will devalue your buying power by the time you retire. don't believe me, start talking to some seniors who thought half a million dollars would keep them alive in retirement. It won't. They'll die waiting a year for our socialist healthcare system to serve them. Lost a few family already.

@delv213 Uhh, the buying power of the money goes down more than the ROI on the government pension. Please understand that government monopolies are the worst.
