  5. Capitalism is the voluntary exchange between people. Corporatism (spawned by government involvement in markets) is not the same thing. Economic sustainability is when you have no 'nanny' forcing costs on entire industries. I want your kids to be able to start a business at 10 years old if they want. I also want solar and wind technology to decrease in cost... to do this, you don't impose a carbon tax. Why? What drives up one industry, drives up the other. Solar and wind rely heavily on fossil fuels for mined materials, and for shipping resources around the world. To make the switch naturally, we need industry to compliment each other. In fact, socialism does the opposite, it creates monopolies as the only industries that can navigate around expensive regulations and taxation are the big established corporations. So... no, socialism creates a 2 class society (though I know it preaches otherwise).

  6. I don't agree with drugs, prostitution, but I drive fast. Because of this, I'm Libertarian. Because of this, I don't believe government can control people like me, or drug users, or prostitution rings via laws and regulations. They spend billions of tax dollars trying to control.
