Let me ask you, if I rallied and passed law that allowed me to call myself Allah and walk into a Mosque and force everyone there to identify me as their God, and then threaten them with massive fines and jail time if they choose not to, is that wrong? I just want to clarify that the issue isn't the life you live, it's the fact that this is a Trojan horse of legislation that can absolutely be abused. Nobody should have that kind of power over other people, ever. This can be a way for people to use professional victimization as a means to bully other people they disagree with at random. Where I worry is what is stopping political parties from passing future legislation that allows them to pass fines with anyone that disagrees with their ideology? This road gets orwellian really fast. For the record, I know a couple trans people, and homosexual men. They don't go around getting the approval of government to live their life. Neither should you.
