  2. Governments create poverty (usually by supporting unions/corporations/international non profits) and then the military goes and fights the governments opposition. It's a damn shame more vets don't run for office. They've seen the dark side of humanity and bad policy... let alone bad leadership. We could use them in office, even if they are a little salty and jaded with experience. At least they have experience in leadership.
