  1. Sex is biology. Gender is psychology. Physiological ambiguities aside, whereas sex is fixed prior to birth, gender is an affirmative and developmental process. Gender commensurate with sexual biology, is an unfoldment and maturing process, ideally one which seeks self-mastery culminating in adulthood. What has been left behind are those principles of gender confirmation which denote emotional maturity, and adulthood for either gender. Gender maturity is a complimentarity, not an an alphabet soup of confused and poorly guided, transient notions. The psyche must be given time to grow into ones biology. A manipulation of sex to comply with gender is assinine.
