  2. There is a tendency to trade one dysfunction for another. There is a form of commodification that goes along with this, i.e., changing fashions etc. Also, a negative view towards a sex or gender formation from either an individual or a societal perspective will have consequences from conception. The qualities of associated emotional charges -- whether negative or affirmative -- affect human formation overall, especially during gestation. Could then, negative attitudes towards masculinity in men and femininity in women increase gender dysphoria?
