Trump's already doing a great job representing "working people." So what's Saunders talking about? Further... Bernie fails to mention how many Americans have died, because they DID use what is often misrepresented as "health care," rather than sickness management for control and profit. So who then, does Sanders purport to support with his policies? Big Pharma?
The question is not... "How do we feed the world," or, "How do we provide better health care," but rather, "How do we empower and teach the people's of the world, including the American people, how to feed themselves and take responsibility for learning how to take care of their own health? The main reasons are, social-ism, is an ideology of victimhood, entitlement and dependency.

What Bernie proposes, is not rights, but dependencies and pretexts for extortion. Health Care, is not a "right," but a responsibility. No system, can take responsibility for anyone's health. Indeed, if the people fail to take responsibility for their own health, the system, which is a business model, will manage your sickness. See... "Not Yours To Give," by American statesman and Senator from Tennessee, Davy Crockett.

@conman2747 To the contrary... As Ayn Rand explains, a "right" to "Health" Care, in practical terms, becomes a system of sickness management and dependency, not to mention an extortion of those who prefer to take responsibility for their own health. As is shown, social-ism, is a fixed ideology to which the people submit under duress, whereas fair market capitalism is a living ideal - a value for value exchange and right to contract, to which people freely commit. In other words, whereas ideology - whether religious or secular, compels submission, ideals permit free association, independent volition and choice. State imposed "Health" Care, permits neither choice nor rights, which is ironically, anathema to a liberal social ethos. In fact, State imposed "Health" Care, destroys rights and liberty, and in too many cases, destroys health also.

Whereas Social-ism is a political ideology that panders to mediocrity and weakness, whilst posing as a champion of social justice, capitalism appeals to merit and a pursuit of excellence. A "conservative" - one who preserves and conserves, and empowers the people to become their best Selves - enhancing their personal dignity, is the authentic home of social justice. Basically, whereas wealth creating capitalism encourages & admires personal initiative, social-ism, appeals to mediocrity, which leads to entropy and a collapse of the will to succeed, which in turn gives rise to economic & social chaos. This is why, all promised socialist utopias are wishful fictions.
