Romney has tied his fortunes to those of the mob. Platitudes aside, neither Romney, nor anyone else, no matter how hard they tried, have produced evidence of crime, let alone an impeachable offense. Romney's protest of morality and conscience rings hollow. The American founding fathers were also religious. Further, Romney's timing, is wholey suspect and opportunistic. Whereas Romney displays on exaggerated concern about Trump's morality, he shows little concern for the transgressions of others, whose guilt has been proven. How is the hatred and vindictiveness, which drove the impeachment process a manifestation of his "conscience?" The real question, Mr. Romney, is, do you believe in the American Constitutional Republic, and the Divine Providence to which the founding fathers attribute success of their undertakings? Trump does. What the American people may learn from this exercise, is, whether an Obama or a Romney, smooth talkers don't necessarily make for honest talkers, Romney's protestations of faith aside.
At the root of Romney's posturing, is jealousy and envy. His emotions, are those of self-pity. If Trump rejected Romney, evidently, he must have had a damned good reason for doing so.
