  1. Islam is a "religion of peace," only insofar as Islam has conquered, and dominates a subject people. Even then, the Shiite and Sunni branches of Islam have throughout history, slaughtered one another. So even if Islam were to conquer the world, Islam would still require "infidels" as an "evil other" to perpetuate itself.
