  1. Indeed. There has been a loss of respect for the spoken word. Words - formidable formative powers - are a framing of thoughts. When thoughts become incoherent, so too will speech become gibberish, giving rise to entropy, chaos, division, and conflict. As a famous broadcaster announced immediately prior to an outbreak of hostilities leading to WWII, "All communication has broken down in Europe."
