  2. Westerners are too ethnocentric. They have little idea generally, of Chinese mentality & thought. A single party dictatorship has the luxury of planning over much longer periods of time. So "patience" is a greater possibility.

  3.  Jeannie Seibert  Being aware of what is going on in the world -- the thinking, values & mentality of others -- does not preclude your values & aspirations towards freedom and a liberation of consciousness. Other people's of the world have much to contribute to our understanding, but this doesn't suggest we should necessarily adopt their practices and values, many of which have long since been discarded as hindrances to human progress, dignity, life and civilization, cannibalism & child sacrifice being just two of them. In your mind, how does freedom differ from liberty?
