  1. Whereas rights are an abstraction commensurate with a human capacity for consciousness & conscience, license relates to animal instincts and passions. Only human beings have a capacity for moral & ethical thought & action of an independent volition. Rights, thereby, are only a human capacity, and relative only to conscience.
