  2.  @cybernews  you can rent small 1gb or 2gb servers with Linux & nothing else for a couple dollars a month. For a lot of people looking for a VPN it would be a cheaper option as most people just want it to either hide traffic from their ISP as access Netflix etc when outside the USA

  3.  @cybernews  also forgot to add the important benefit that you don't have to trust your VPN provider to not track you so the privacy will likely appeal to a lot of people too
