  1. Replacing plastic bottles & going back to glass for bottles of milk & soda globally would be far worse for the world. The amount of fossil fuels burned to make the glass not to mention the already shortage of sand. Sure glass is reusable but the fact that there's like ~8,000,000,000 people makes it impossible to provide enough glass bottles for everything.
