  1. Maybe it's my lack of a physics doctoral degree but I don't understand why they haven't tried making a collapse-able or otherwise folding cover for the top of the cargo ship. Cover it with solar cells and then put a bunch of batteries in the bottom if the ship where the engine and fuel was previously stored.
