90-95% efficienct still means it uses more electricity than it produces which makes it useless.

@nicadi2005 clearly you know very little about fusion. If I could get back all te energy I put in plus a 95% return on investment everyone would use fusion. There'd be no nuclear facilities, much less coal or oil burning factories. But starting and maintaining a fusion reaction uses MORE energy than it produces. Hence why fusion has always been a pipe dream. 95% is much closer than previous attempts that were only 50% or 60% but it's still too far away to achieve the infinite energy dream of fusion power

@mtgn10 considering about a week ago scientists demonstrated a reaction that outputted more energy than it took to start the reaction. I think it's safe to say you've got your head up your ass. But keep replying your idiocy feeds the algorithm by increasing engagement & makes it easier for more people to see Matt's videos
