I know you try to lean into the clickbait for the algorithm but I wanted to point out that if he had not taken the stand, he still would have been found guilty.

@blakekaveny the prosecution has a recording proving he was at the kennels before they were killed. Him admitting on the stand that he was a liar no doubt sped things along but I'm confident the same verdict would have been eventually reached if the prosecution was like you said you weren't there until after they were dead but we have a recording proving otherwise, if you lied about this & stealing from your law firm & stealing from your clients it seems reasonable you're lying about not killing your family too. then he's like I won't take the stand to defend these claims. Jury woulda been like well that looks pretty guilty he's not contesting any of the claims the prosecution has made.
