@lionessliving9862 Not necessarily. Firstly, Covid can provoke an inflammatory response that is called Sepsis, which can kill. The airways and lungs can fill up with fluid, i.e. Pneumonia, and just because a virus is endemic, doesn't mean it can't kill. Ask American chickens. Bird Flu has been around for decades, but a new mutation is destroying flocks so fast, that they can't recover. So, the idea that post-viral pandemics, is all okey-dokey, is disproven by the history of viral pandemics. The excess death rate is above the base death rate for more than 5 years after the acute wave, and the short-effective life of the vaccines is proof that COVID-19 is a well-adapted pathogen.
