Too much water kills you far quicker than too little, especially when that water is polluted. It becomes like an outbreak of cholera. Not enough clean water reaching the brain, and too much diarrhoea posing as useful organic matter coming out. Before you feel inclined to offer yet another opinion, just consider if it is useful and true. If not, save it for the birds.

  2. Save Brexit? Nope. It's dead. Time to repair the damage, and build new bridges reflecting the interests of the people who lost out from Brexit, and reflects the interests of ordinary people rather than elites who have ideas that were only valid in the 19th century. Starmer needs to realise that the only way to grow this economy is remove the self-imposed trade barriers to our biggest trade partners, and secure our future and the future of our young people.

Today, I had the idea that one could have a cartoon I two frames where Rachel Reeves could be like Nelson looking down the wrong of the telescope, and claiming not to see the 3 ships "Inequality", "Sustainability", and "Well-being". Our economy is poorly structured, with an overdependence on the Financial Sector. 99% of UK businesses are small businesses. Not the big ones, or the hedge funds. Our infrastructure is demanding investment as much as the NHS, and we don't only have a Labour shortage, we have skill shortages, where people cannot afford to borrow to retrain. We need a reset after 14 years of wealthy asset owners getting socialism, while workers and the assetless got unlimited neoliberalism. More of the same it isn't going to fix it.

  13. Who can blame him? It hasn't been exactly a force for good has it in this context? Somewhat like its current owner. He thinks that there are no consequences for him, at least. But he should acquaint himself with public opinion on social media. There's a limit to the public's patience with anything. If it started to go against social media, especially at a time when the global business cycle is coming to its lowest point, it would not be surprising if governments started increasing regulation, looking to increase competition, or even looking at other models that can't be monopolised or abused so easily. Just a thought.

  17. Really? So CV's are irrelevant then? For a job as important as Prime Minister, the thought that one could have zero experience and still get the job isn't comforting.
