  2. It does help if you spell the word you are looking for correctly. It's "Quantitative" Easing, from the same root as Quantity. As for this country being a Christian country, and dogma regarding usury, that's for the birds. Both the Anglican and Catholic Churches are significant investors, and as their investment funds are run by financial professionals, their funds will use debt securities in order to ensure they can meet their long-term liabilities such as pensions, and estate maintenance. Go figure.
