  1. ​ @jasonaris5316  Yes, and No. Savings is just hoarding cash instead of investing it productively. Not only is the return on savings normally below inflation, so it's value is being eroded, but too much savings can impede economic growth in the economy. So unless you need cash, it doesn't make sense. So, invest it because the returns on stocks and shares exceed the returns on bank deposits.
