  1. And you have not listened to the video or understood why that inflation happened. Why not Chek the population of Great Britain alone in 1812, with the population in 1931, when Britain finally crashed out of the Gold Standard for good. And if you are an economics nerd, check the GDP in both dates, and the interest rate or rate of return on investments. You will see the population has grown by millions, GDP exploded by millions, and being on the Gold Standard did not stop financial crises from happening. When you have growing populations, more money is needed. And any asset with a fixed supply is useless at dealing with growing popularions. And no gold bug has ever acknowledged this. Instead, it's yet another asset being shilled, but providing zero benefit as a result.
