  1. You need to read Camus again. Say, try The Plague, or his book about Sisyphus. Meaning making is a creative act. And if that all we can comfort ourselves with whilst whizzing through space on a lump of dirt, which in time will be swallowed up by the Sun in its death throes, charred to nothing, and rendered back to atoms as the Sun goes supernova... Well, we can imagine Sisiphus happy, because all we have is now. And whatever qualitatively improves that experience for us and those around us, then that's good enough. Absurdism is not about not caring. It's about caring enough not to increase suffering unnecessarily. Life might be a one and done deal, but the quality of the experience is everything. Thus we as Sisyphus can be happy as we roll our bolder.
