Nature abhors a vacuum. Leave any gap and something opportunistic and unpleasant will fill it. Perhaps peace isn't enough of a reward for these crazied egos. They have to tear it down, because it's not as ugly as they are. Trump and his backers, are motivated by greed, and they will kill the goose that lays the Golden Egg, because they're too self absorbed to stay in their lane. This class of people got their way and ruined the postwar settlement, and what they naively replaced with of course is now endangering the very planet we live on. But their addiction with the pissing contest of having telephone number bank balances, means their limited imaginations can't stretch to anything but accumulating more telephone numbers, and throwing their toys out of the pram when they can't get it. How pathetic. All of these people could make the world a better place to live, but instead they just want to get even richer. And that's the gap they've created for chaos to come in.
