That's what I want the UK to be again. A society and a home, instead of a 24-hour factory.

They're just humans like us. And there is some truth in the saying hard times make wise men. 70 years of peace, is the longest time in Europe, and sadly, the egotistical impatience of those we fostered in our breast, means they are all brothers to Icarus. Thus, they will fall, and our job is not follow them crashing into the waves.

That's what scared people do. Their elites have screwed up, because the neoliberal cultural and economic experiment has failed, and badly. And the the only priority of the Elites in office now is how to make mire money for themselves. And they lie and cheat to do it. They have given up, and thus fall into the temptations of neonazis like Thiel and Musk. Economic apartheid. That's their plan, and that's going to fail too.

Then that is an ongoing conversation we can't have if all we do is fall to the temptation of being divided, just because it suits the wealthy asset owners to lie to us. We should forgive, but never forget how easy it is to be dishonest in politics, and our trust should be earned. We have to find our own path in redeeming ourselves, rather than enviously following others because they have money. They're the same people who are planning for their own chikdren, sick, and disabled to go hungry to provide tax cuts for the already wealthy. That's not a great path to follow, and I hope the American people remember they can do better.

Our perceived weakness, that is. Just because we're run by a generation of shallow, selfish, cod-patriots, who sell themselves to the highest bidder, doesn't mean we all are like that. They're impressed merely with Trump and their minions because they're rich. The best of our oligarchs should realise now that turning us into a colony ruled by them or Trump and his broligarchs is not on. The British establishment needs to start thinking for themselves and their country, instead of simping for a country that doesn't respect us. As the Professor says we can change, and we should thank the Americans for showing us that there is an alternative to their model. And I think we should change our priorities accordingly. They can go their own way.
