  3. People burning the Quran are simply setting fires they think other people will burn in. Instead, by not even bothering to understand their target, show how empty and hollow their understanding is about themselves, and how the world works. They're desperate for respect and legitimacy for their divisive and destructive views that anything but respectable or legitimate. Instead they endanger innocents in their cultural and stochastic violence. They're nothing more than bullies and cowards.
