If Starmer had any sense he'd tell Zelensky to nationalise any strategic resources within Ukraine 1991 borders, and offer all western aligned nations time-limited contracted extraction and processing rights to said resources in return for defence guarantees, plus he can off contracts for the rebuilding and up rating of Ukraine's infradture and defence industry. Zelensky can offer these to the US, the EU states, Japan and South Korea. The Saudis have a very similar arrangement with the US, and if the US doesn't like being in the queue, just don't give them any. They'll soon reconsider their situation, or dither. In the meantime keep on pressurizing the Eastern flank, because Putin is running out of time and manpower. He hasn't started recruiting in the cities, but he soon will.
