Not the Royal Mail. Post Office Limited and Royal Mail were separated in 2012, the latter was privatised. And there is an issue that the Horizon system was fostered onto Royal Mail after it had been rejected by the then DHSS as being unfit for service as a Benefits payment transaction system. And to put the cherry on top of that cake, it was the Conservatives that destroyed Girobank, the state bank which had the computer systems to handle those benefit payments before that.
